Simplified Hydroponics

Simplified Hydroponics was first started in South and Central America more than 22 years ago. Thousands of people, especially those from the most deprived sections of society, have benefited from this technology. Since the technique is very easy to learn, inexpensive to build and maintain, it has helped many to attain sustainability and livelihood.

Benefits of this technology are several and is the perfect answer to modern day problems

Our Institute is an associate and sole representative of the IISH, International Institute of Simplified Hydroponics, USA,  (www.carbon.org). Ms Peggy Bradley and Mr Andy McLoughrin of the IISH, were instrumental in setting up the "Pet Bharo" project in India in Jan 2009 alongwith 'CV'.

Simplified Hydroponics is not just for the poor, but for just anyone who wishes to grow fresh vegetables, herbs and fruits in their own lands or homes.

There is immense scope for the practitioners of this technique to scale up to a Commercial model too, once, of course, they have mastered a smaller sized system.

ISH regularly conducts training course at Bangalore.
